Products
Below are some common questions about our products
Does this feel like marijuana?
Many people think so! Hemp-derived Delta 9 THC and THCa are cannabinoids naturally expressed in the cannabis plant. They have many of the same effects as the more well-known cousin cannabinoid, marijuana-derived Delta 9 THC.
Where can I buy Baseline products?
For now - we have our website: baselinethc.com.
With more support from customers like you - we may find ourselves a storefront in the Austin area soon!
What cannabinoids do you use?
We use THCa, CBD, and Delta 9 THC all derived from Hemp. These cannabinoids offer great effects and are all naturally present in the Hemp plant. These cannabinoids also allow us the flexibility to ship to more states.
Cannabis

What is Hemp?
Hemp, or industrial hemp, is a variety of Cannabis sativa that is cultivated for its fiber, seeds, and oil. It contains 0.3% or less THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), the psychoactive component found in cannabis, meaning hemp-derived products don’t contain enough THC to create the “high” traditionally associated with marijuana.
Hemp is used to make a wide range of products, including paper, textiles, clothing, biodegradable plastics, paint, insulation, bio fuel, food, and animal feed.
What's the difference between Hemp and Marijuana?
Hemp and marijuana are both varieties of the Cannabis sativa plant, but they differ significantly in their tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content.
Hemp is defined as a cannabis plant that contains 0.3% or less THC, which is not enough to create the “high” traditionally associated with marijuana.
On the other hand, marijuana refers to cannabis that has more than 0.3% THC by dry weight and can contain up to 25% or more THC, which is responsible for its psychoactive effects.
What is Delta 9 THC?
Delta 9 THC (Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the cannabinoid that most people refer to when they say “THC”.
It is a chemical compound found in cannabis and hemp plants that is primarily responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. It works by binding to specific sites in the brain and on the nerves. The intoxicating effect of Delta 9 THC is what typically makes users feel "high”.
Delta 9 THC is naturally occurring in all cannabis plants and has been consumed by humans for thousands of years – unlike Delta 8, HHC, or other synthetics which have only commercially existed for a few years.
What is THCa?
THCa, or Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid, is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in raw cannabis. It is the precursor to Delta 9 THC (Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol), and when exposed to heat, it undergoes a process called decarboxylation to convert into psychoactive Delta 9 THC.
In other words - if you heat it - THCa gives the same effects as regular THC.
Will THCa get me high?
Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCa) is a non-psychoactive compound found in raw cannabis. It does not produce a “high” in its raw form. However, when THCa is exposed to heat, it undergoes decarboxylation, converting it into THC, which is psychoactive.
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural substance found in cannabis, also known as marijuana, and also in hemp plants.
It does not contain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive ingredient found in marijuana that produces a high. CBD is used in various forms such as oil, capsules, tinctures, food items, and beauty products.
Will CBD get me high?
Cannabidiol (CBD), a compound found in cannabis plants, does not cause a “high” feeling. However, CBD is known to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Additionally, it can even interfere with THC binding to CB1 receptors. This means it can be used to bring a balance to your experience.
What is Delta 8 THC?
Delta 8 THC is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant. It's a type of cannabinoid, similar to Delta 9 THC, the primary psychoactive compound in marijuana.
However, Delta 8 THC produces milder psychoactive effects, often described as a clearer and more focused high. It's also commonly described as producing a "body high," whereas Delta 9 THC produces more of a "head high."
Will Delta 8 THC get me high?
Yes, Delta 8 THC can produce psychoactive effects, but they are generally milder than those of Delta 9 THC. Users often report feelings of body relaxation, euphoria, and increased appetite. Depending on your dose and your tolerance, the intensity of these effects can vary from person to person.
Please note: It's important to consult with a healthcare professional before using Delta 8 THC, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking medications.
Legal
Use this section for any descriptive text you need to fill out your pages or to add introductory headings between other blocks.
Will this show up on a drug test?
Our THCa and Delta 9 products will cause you to test positive for THC. We recommend not using them if you are required to pass a drug test for marijuana.
CBD, CBN, and CBG are not THC. However, some products, such as full-spectrum CBD, can contain small amounts of Delta 9 THC. There's no clear-cut answer as to if this small amount can result in a positive drug test. It's always best to avoid cannabis products when you have a drug test coming up.
How old do I have to be?
To be as compliant as possible around the country - our minimum age to purchase Baseline products is 21 years old. Please keep in mind that several products will require an adult signature to complete delivery.
