FAQs

Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

What is Delta 9 THC?

Delta 9 THC (Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) is the cannabinoid that most people refer to when they say “THC”.

It is a chemical compound found in cannabis and hemp plants that is primarily responsible for the psychoactive effects associated with cannabis. It works by binding to specific sites in the brain and on the nerves. The intoxicating effect of Delta 9 THC is what typically makes users feel "high”.

Delta 9 THC is naturally occurring in all cannabis plants and has been consumed by humans for thousands of years – unlike Delta 8, HHC, or other synthetics which have only commercially existed for a few years.

Is Delta 9 legal?

All of our products are made from federally legal hemp. Per the 2018 Farm Bill, it’s perfectly legal for farmers nationwide to grow and distribute hemp which does not exceed 0.3% of Delta 9 THC on a dry weight basis.

State laws can vary, always be sure to check the legal section of products pages to see if the product is available in your state!

Does this feel like marijuana?

Yes, hemp-derived Delta 9 THC feels virtually the same as marijuana-derived Delta 9 THC.

Under a microscope, there’s no difference between the two; they both deliver the same effects. The key distinction is that hemp-derived Delta 9 THC can be shipped nationwide, and best of all, you don’t need a medical card to enjoy it!

What's the difference between hemp and marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana are both varieties of Cannabis sativa, but they differ in THC content. Hemp contains 0.3% or less Delta-9 THC by dry weight, while marijuana contains more than 0.3%.

When it comes to edibles, the 0.3% Delta-9 THC limit is based on the total weight of the final product. Essentially, the heavier the edible, the more THC you can infuse -- as long as the weight of the THC does not exceed 0.3% of the total weight of the final product.

Will this show up on a drug test?

Our THCa and Delta 9 products can cause you to test positive for THC. We recommend not using them if you are required to pass a drug test for marijuana.

CBD is not THC, but some CBD products (like full-spectrum CBD) can contain trace amounts of Delta 9 THC, which can result in a positive drug test.

It's always best to avoid cannabis products when you have a drug test coming up.
